Family Festa? The Italian American Family Festa is organized by the Italian American Heritage Foundation,
a 501(c)(3) non- profit organization dedicated to nurturing Italian
heritage, arts, and cultural programs in our community. Will there be an Opening Ceremony? Yes. The Ribbon Cutting/Opening ceremony celebrating our new home at Guadalupe River Park will take place on Saturday, August 28th at 12:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend!
Where is the best place to park? Please see our Directions and Parking Are there restrooms available? Yes, there will be portal restroom facilities around the park area. Can I bring food and/or drinks to
the park? Yes.
Are there trash and/or recycling cans?
Portable recycling & trash receptacles are provided surrounding the park for your convenience. However, in an effort to minimize the burden on the Parks Department clean-up crew, it is highly recommended that you carry away any waste you produce and deposit it in your home recycling containers. Is there a play area for children? Yes, there are two playgrounds and a carousel at Arena Green, a
block west of the festival site. Is there lodging for out-of-towners? Yes there is a special discount rate given to Festa Vendors and
visitors with the DeAnza Hotel and the Arena Hotel. Please see the Hotel Information. Are there any businesses open after the Festa ends? Yes, there will be portal restroom facilities around the park area. Are pets allowed at the Festa? Due to the large number of attendees expected at the Festa, we respectfully request that pets remain at home during this event. Though the city does not have an ordinance against preventing animals from attending the event, pets must be on a leash and remain 20 feet away from all food booths. |
